Meet the photographer

Originally from Brazil, Paola Salviano discovered wedding photography as the creative, emotional, and human connection she had missed during her years in the corporate world. Now based in Amsterdam, she captures weddings with a focus on storytelling, emotion, and timeless aesthetics.

Her work is vibrant, multicultural, and grounded in authenticity, reflecting the diversity of the couples she photographs. Many of her clients are internationals, expats, or visitors to the Netherlands, and her fluency in seven languages helps her create a warm, comfortable space where people feel truly seen. "This skill is particularly useful for destination weddings, which are among my favorites," she shares.

Whether it’s a quiet elopement or a lively celebration, Paola approaches each wedding with thoughtfulness and care. Her photography is about more than beauty; it’s about connection, culture, and capturing moments with heart and intuition. And wherever love takes her, she’s ready to follow.

Paola was the most amazing photographer we could dream of, on our catholic wedding. She is so talented, warm and professional. She truly delivered pieces of art, was able to capture the details, emotions and key moments of the ceremony. We got married in the Beginhof of Amsterdam. We wanted Black and white pictures as well as some color ones, and to capture the romance of the city and buildings. The result is timeless and stunning. What I loved most was her architectural eye and her fun, warm personnality. She blended in with our family and guests as if she had always known all of us.
